| - | The close coupled pan is available in the Regal height - 6cm higher than a standard height WC. Over the last 100 years people have grown by approximately 3.5cm - and most WC's are still the same height that they were 100 years ago. Don't get confused - this is not a disabled WC - it is a WC that is suitable for most people in 2010. It is far more comfortable to sit on a chair or WC, where the height of the product is similar to the height of the centre of your knee! So the Regal WC can be used with regular cisterns (lever or push button flush), slimline cisterns (lever or push button flush) or with a medium level cistern (lever flush). |

These comprehensive criteria cover: functionality (flush testing, air testing), overall appearance (flatness of surface, spigot shape and length), and dimension (height, fixing holes). |
| - | Our Medium / High Level flush pipe is supplied with a solid brass pipe nut that reverse screws into the cistern waste outlet. So for the first time you don't have the experience of the underside brass attachment under the high / medium level cistern constantly 'falling down'! |
| - | All our flush pipes are supplied with an adjustable brass spacer clip with a rubber buffer. The buffer is so the WC does not hit the brass flush pipe - and is pretty standard. The clever bit is the adjustability - so you can use our spacer whether your wall is not truly vertical, if you have half height tiling, a dado - or no tiling - the spacer fits every application! |
| - | All our WC's are fired at a minimum of 1200 degrees for a minimum of 17 hours. This does make it more difficult to control the bowing and twisting of products (and increases our reject rate) - but it does ensure that every WC exceeds the European water retention standard on 0.5%. (this is especially important in a WC - as it holds water 24 hours per day 365 days per year!) |
| - | We do special slimline cisterns - they are 7cm narrower than standard cisterns - this has no effect on the performance - but is useful in applications were space is an issue. |
| - | We have three aluminium high level cisterns (brushed aluminium, black and white) - all are sealed on the internal surface with three coats of sealant. Whilst this was not done 100 years ago it does prevent oxidisation of the aluminium in contact with water - and will make your high level cistern last far longer. |
| - | Packaging is designed to 0.6m drop test (you can drop the sanitaryware in its box at any angle onto a concrete floor from 0.6m - and it will not be damaged!) |
| - | All WC's are packaged in white Burlington boxes, with internal shaped cut out carton (we have changed from white polystyrene - as the cardboard is recyclable - and far better for our planet!) - so that the sanitaryware cannot move at all within the box - this prevents any scratching or damage in transport |
